     it is about your interest, if you are interested then you automatically bound with it but as you asked i must suggest you to watch videos relating to different phenomena of daily life in which physics play important role, look around you and think about how physics is applied to reduce human effect and make our life and work easier, read physics text books , i don’t know in which class you read if you are a student of +2 then try to read modern from beginner  learn trigonometry and calculus , develop interest in differentiation and integration.
Read the books and magazines in physics , internet and always try to relate them with the day to day life, Because we know that everything starting from the electrons (the movement of electrons is the current) to the big universe.
The lights and the fans everything is physics, And their manufacture,their mechanism is physics. So to learn physics at home by yourself you can relate each and every topic with our day to day life.
      
always remember math's is a backbone of physics like if you want to be a good relationship with your GF then you must maintained a good relation with her bestie and sis , in same way if you want to educate your self in physics then love maths.
if you are under 10 learn your physics text book, do trigonometry and equation, develop interest in natural phenomena like heat conduction ,normal motion, force, optics, watch educational video from YouTube , watch science shows in TV if any came , in my childhood their was ,you also watch movies with science fiction like MARVEL SERIES, GRAVITY, INTERSTELLAR and at last enjoy it ,Read the right books However realistically you won’t make a good physicist without formal training.

   In particular, make sure you can (correctly) solve any exercises and problems given, I'd say it's impossible to over-emphasise the importance of this, As well as an actual textbook, perhaps a book of past papers practice problems at that level (or equivalent) may be a smart move. These tend to come with solutions, so you can check you're doing things right and correct any mistakes, A good example is something like a Schaum's Outline book: these are relatively inexpensive and enable you to pick up the basics, and leave you with the confidence to move on to the more advanced stuff.


Here’s a list of the right physics books:

• Intro physics:
The Mechanical Universe you should master this book in skill in high school from your own studies since you probably won't get good training from your school system
also master introductory calculus (i.e. integrate, differentiate, integrate by parts)
also master basic linear algebra (i.e. invert matrices, solve N equations)

• more advanced books:
Introductory Quantum Mechanics (Liboff) difficult but intro physics major undergrad level
Classical Mechanics (Goldstein) advanced undergrad or intro grad level -Electromagnetism (Jackson) advanced undergrad or intro grad level .
Quantum Mechanics (Sakurai) advanced undergrad or intro grad level

Even more advanced physics books:
Quantum Field Theory (Srednicki) advanced grad level - General Relativity (Misner Thorne Wheeler) use white tabbed pages only grad level .

* Even more advanced again:
String Theory (Polchinski) very advanced grad level General Relativity (Misner Thorne Wheeler) use black tabbed pages this time, as well as redo white tabbed pages to help remember things.

       Note the above sequence will take about 5–7 years of intense study, But you’ll be up to speed on the basics, you could become a PhD student for a theorist and they could lead you into becoming a real theorist who writes papers that are not tinfoil hat papers, Note I have blatantly ignored major fields in physics that are unforgivable to skip, like statistical mechanics, basic materials physics, plus ignored the math that you will need.


The math you will need to learn physics 2021:

Classical calculus
• Linear Algebra (fancy version like in Apostol volumes 1 and 2)
• Partial Differential Equations
• Complex Analysis (method of residues in contour integration)
• Nonlinear Differential Equations
• Group Theory (physics version only)
• Tensor Calculus (physics version only)

     After this the physics is too different from the pure math so you basically will be using custom forms of math that are only used in specific fields of physics, and unintelligible to mathematicians ,An example would be the graphs used in calculations in particle physics called Feynman diagrams, These are mathematical structures not just pictures You need the secret code to convert these diagrams into formulae though ,This comes from taking a formal relativistic quantum class and an advanced formal particle physics class (that has relativistic QM/QFT as a prerequisite - only taught at a few top schools, not one that is lower level that does not require field theory).

      If you did not go to an advanced physics school, you may never see some of this, yet you will think you got a good education and may still do well in the job market in industry , For research grade academia you may need to go to only the top schools (note almost all the faculty at research oriented or famous physics institutions have degrees from only top 10 schools often for both undergrad and grad school, and often at least one or not both of their degrees is actually from a top 3 school).

If you are considering a mostly teaching and not research type lifestyle, then the options are more open, Just look at the backgrounds of the faculty at a university that you consider a future employer, and make sure your background is comparable or better .

As already stated in another answer, MIT is a great resource to learn physics for beginners ,Walter Lewin's lectures are quite popular, but they are introductory level physics. There's also much more there if you advance beyond the introductory level material.

All of this material is also available for free ,There is also Khan Academy, which is also a great resource for self-teaching.


Read a lot but do so at just above your current level of knowledge, If you read things that are way beyond you you are unlikely to learn much, By all means do the occasional reading at a level well below yours - you never know what you may have missed on first reading but do not spend too much time on this, The more different views that you read the more likely it is that some of them will be easy for you to absorbed.
I suppose Pradeep publications is still the most popular physics book at school level in India or for that matter most physics text books are presented in a similar format Read theory from the book. Each chapter is divided into portions So read a portion ,Then read and the derivation of that section by writing(mugging a derivation is very important because a-it'll help you memories formula, b-more importantly even the sub-formulas eventually used to derive a formula can help in solving a numerical) Derivation is followed by some solved examples. Read them carefully, try to understand them and after understanding do those solved examples with your own hand workout seeing. These are suitably positioned in chapter to explain the application of the concept and the formula of that particular portion.
Now this is followed by some problems.

       At each chapter's end are still more solved examples These are to teach how to use 2 or more concepts together in 1 problem , AGAIN I MUST STRESS DO THEM YOURSELF. If unable to, then see the solution, understand it and do it again ,Them proceed to solve the numerical , I'm sure you'll see things changing for better.

    Force yourself to actually attempt the problems instead of just following the solutions.
Learn to recognize when a book is too advanced for you,  If you've read through a chapter and learned nothing, you might have picked up a graduate level textbook when you need an undergraduate one (or upper division instead of lower division) , Have somewhere to ask for help if you need it .
If your goal is to learn more than one subject find a degree outline on a university website and follow it, Degree outlines will give you an idea of what subjects a typical physics major learns and in what order ,You can also find course outlines that sketch the material that a given course covers.

 advice Be sure to learn the necessary math as well :

Since you don't need a specific textbook edition, go for the old editions and save some money, Search for PDF versions of textbooks online as well.
If you've accomplished this task now move on to some MIT PHYSICS  book , Again follow the same pattern. Theory won't take much time as basic concepts are same, So see and do the solved examples then proceed to the unsolved questions.
Listen to the teacher very carefully in the class when a concept is being explained, Read the teacher's notes from book immediately as that period is over. It'll just take a couple of minutes but shall be tremendously helpful.
After reading other answers I've seen various good points for understanding physics, most notably being YouTube videos for understanding concepts.

If you want to learn physics easy and fast, you must  have to as you want to score good in competitive exams, books like HC Verma or Irodov is the way to go, visit a coaching too without joining it for maybe a month or two to realize that joining one is not worth it. Competitive exams like JEE require you to understand everything and not shove it down your brain. So Do NCERT, and something like HC Verma, and then competitive exam books (I do BITSAT book) and then do previous year questionsand mock tests.
If you just want to understand stuff and NCERT is weird and you can’t understand it, yes class 11–12th NCERT have that secret charm which makes you sleepy and bored Try Chapter wise Arihant in class 12 For 11, stick with NCERT, even if it’s hard, it’s the best bet.

You need few things to learn physics at first:

• text books.
• pens, pencils, ruler, calculator, paper, a small laptop, table and a chair.
• good Internet service.

Then you start studying it, manage your time, revise things you studied frequently, read the concepts you found in the textbooks on Wikipedia , And the main thing while studying physics is to be curious, ask very much about things you read, you can find so many explanations of the topics you study on the internet, so it is only a matter of hard work and passion about the subject.

     Here is the most practical complete and easy to use guide available for understanding physics and the physical world, Even if you don't consider yourself a "science" person, this book helps make learning key concepts a pleasure, not a chore. Here are some books that I came across.

The Feynman Lectures on Physics: Divided in 3 volumes, it is an excellent source to start learning Physics for beginners, Volume 1 deals with Classical Mechanics, Volume 2 covers Electromagnetism and Volume 3 is about Quantum Mechanics, I've downloaded the books and read lightly It's a delight to read the books, with each concept explained perfectly by the great Richard Feynman himself. No wonder it has such a cult following among students and physicists.

Physics for Scientists and Engineers: This book IMO can be used for problem solving after going through Feynman lectures and is a recommended book for the MIT Open courseware for Physics.
Introduction to Electrodynamics by David Griffiths: One of the best and most popular books for studying Electrodynamics , Easy to follow with lots of problems.
Introduction to Quantum Mechanics by David Griffiths: for an excellent formal and fundamental introduction to Quantum Mechanics.
